W.Bro. John Aslatt & W/Bro John Hibbert, of Kilmorey Lodge no 7109 (Craft), who is Chairman of “Bouncing Back Group” receiving a cheque for £100 from C & N.W District of Allied Masonic Degrees.
Bouncing Back Group is a dementia group in Chester for carers and people living with this illness. They have a drop-in centre in Blacon two mornings a week and encouraging the like in other areas. There is no financial support from NHS or national nor local government sources.

One of my duties as District Grand Prefect is to represent our District throughout the country at other District Meetings.
The other weekend I travelled to Lowestoft in East Anglia for their Meeting, a round trip of 680 miles. I was accompanied by my Deputy, V.W.Bro. David Wright.
Over the next few weeks we will have two other visits to far away places, firstly to South Wales for the Meeting of Severn District and then up to Cleator Moor in Cumbria for their meeting. These journeys would be much less pleasurable without the company of my Deputy and I place on record my thanks for his total support of the District and the Allied Degrees.
I drove to Lowestoft & Dave will drive to Cumbria and we shall both drive our separate ways to South Wales, what support from a great friend.
A bumper night was had at Stayley Council No. 41, Hyde on 7th October when the Council celebrated its Centenary in the presence of the Grand Master, M.W.Bro. Thomas Firth Jackson.
To mark the event a celebratory booklet was produced by the Lodge Secretary, W. Bro. David Smith who was promoted, on the night, to the Rank of PGJD by the Grand Master.
Earlier W. Bro. David Bradbury had been promoted to the Rank of Past District Grand Junior Warden by the District Grand Prefect.
To add to what was already a very special occasion R.W.Bro. Benjamin Addy was presented with a Grand Council Certificate to Celebrate his 50 Years in Allied Degrees. The Certificate was presented by the Grand Master in a wonderfully relaxed manner with both the Grand Master and R.W.Bro. Ben Addy reminiscing of the happy times they have enjoyed over the past 50 years.
